I guess i’ll put heat on my hair. I don’t trust these unpredictable curls at this awkward length to act right in front of a camera. Hell, I can barely get a decent texture shot for you guys!
Averaging at about once a month and you can totally see where the heat damage ends and the 3 inches of curly roots begin! Let’s hope I don’t blow it!

Since im up to about 85% confident in my natural curls right about now.

First day back at school. First day wearing my hair out and natural in class.
Signed up for a gym membership at a jewish community center, EVERYONE HAS CURLY HAIR THERE!! I love it lol!!
And surprise surprise, a mighty fine brotha was working at the gym desk during my tour. He maaaaay be gay but i dont know/ care, im in love until further notice.
P.s. he was sooo cute I reverted to my bashful preteen version of myself, ie, avoided eye contact. At the end, he asked how I liked the tour. And all I could say was “it’s great!” Then looked away! Lol

It has come to my attention that I have more heat damage than once thought. So really my curl pattern isn’t this loose at all. No wonder I didn’t have the shrinkage I had as a kid.
My moms like… So heat damage is good then?
She doesn’t get it. Clearly….
I want healthy hair and I want it now.
I want delicious ringlets, not this fried zigzag.
Also, i want to start swimming, regularly. Any tips on maintaining healthy hair with all that chlorine?
So I evened out my haircut today and got highlights. Then, diffused my hair. This is exactly what I looked like. :/
Can i just have one look where i actually ooze sexy or am I gonna have to grow this thing alll the way out?

And when I wear a headband, I look 3 1/2.
But I did wear it out, with a hoodie so I could have the hoodie part bunched up around my neck. It was the only way I would get to see an old friend before I go back to school.
